Elsa M. Tovar is an associate in the Dallas Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., with a strong foundation in civil litigation and transactional support, backed by more than six years of progressive experience in top Texas law firms.
Ms. Tovar concentrates her practice on civil litigation, assisting in all phases of a case from initial filings through trial. Her experience includes drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery, conducting in-depth legal research, and supporting case strategy development in collaboration with senior attorneys. She is highly skilled in managing complex case files, meeting strict deadlines, and coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
Before joining QPWB, Ms. Tovar served as an associate where she played an integral role in litigation management and trial preparation. Her background also includes experience as a law clerk handling lending and financial services matters, as well as multiple litigation-focused roles supporting high-volume caseloads across Texas courts.
Ms. Tovar earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Pre-Law, with a minor in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University, received in 2018.
