Evelyn L. Cranford is a partner in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance defense litigation representing insurers and insureds in first-party property and coverage actions including sinkhole, fire, theft, vandalism, fraud, PIP/SIU automobile negligence; and in third party litigation, general liability and casualty matters ranging from slip and fall claims to negligent security actions. 

For over 15 years, Ms. Cranford has dedicated her practice to the areas of insurance defense and personal injury matters.  Prior to joining QPWB, she was an associate at an insurance defense law firm in Maitland, Florida handling first-party property actions.  Previously, as staff counsel for a national insurance carrier, she defended causes of actions involving automobile negligence, slip and fall, premise liability, and PIP.  As a litigation associate in Orlando, Florida she represented medical providers in all aspects of litigation involving PIP and fraud actions.  Ms. Cranford's legal career began after her graduation from law school in 1988 at the Office of the State Attorney, Ninth Judicial Circuit where she worked for 15 years.  As lead attorney for career criminal cases, she was responsible for the prosecution of all major felony level offenses, including career criminals, habitual offenders and prison release re-offenders.  She became highly skilled in directing jury and non-jury trials at the juvenile, traffic, misdemeanor and felony levels.   

Ms. Cranford received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1988 and Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida in 1984.  

Ms. Cranford is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  She is a member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers. 

She speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
