Fatima Maryam is an associate in the New York hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice on civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, insurance and insurers, premises liability, contractual disputes, and array of securities matters in federal and state courts, national arbitration forums such as FINRA Dispute Resolution.
Beginning her journey with QPWB as a law clerk, Ms. Maryam gained practical experience in legal research, drafting pleadings, and assisting in trial preparation. After passing the New York Bar, she transitioned to a full-time associate attorney role, continuing to excel in providing exceptional legal service and fostering strong client relationships. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant, reviewing financial records and managing case files.
During her clerkship in New Jersey, shemediated landlord-tenant disputes, strengthening her skills in conflict resolution. In an internship focusing on environmental law, she conducted in-depth legal research and drafted memoranda.
Ms. Maryam earned her Juris Doctor from CUNY School of Law, where she actively participated in the Environmental Justice Coalition and served as a representative on the Sexual Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Committee. Her leadership roles, include mentoring through the Black Law Students Association and serving on the E-board of Environmental Justice Coalition, reflecting her dedication to advocacy and community engagement. Prior to law school, she graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Psychology, and Media Studies/Communications, achieving honors as a Golden Key International Honour Society member while excelling in both academics and extracurricular activities such as fencing and track and field.
Admitted to practice in New York, Ms. Maryam leverages her diverse educational background, professional experience, and multilingual abilities in English, Urdu, and Punjabi to address the unique needs of her clients.
