Francie Gutierrez is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice is focused in civil litigation with an emphasis in the areas of insurance defense, general liability, labor and employment, products liability and workers' compensation defense. Ms. Gutierrez handles first party property insurance defense involving coverage disputes throughout all phases of litigation.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Gutierrez was an associate attorney handling first party property insurance defense and personal injury protection litigation with two civil litigation law firms in Miami. She also practiced with a boutique law firm specializing in high net worth and family law matters involving millions of dollars in assets concerning cases of marriage dissolution, time-sharing, and child/spousal support.
Ms. Gutierrez received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2009 and Bachelor of Arts cum laude from the University of Florida, graduating with a major in English. While completing her legal studies, she served as an advocate for children at Gator Team Child, where she handled juvenile dependency and delinquency cases in court. After her graduation from law school, she completed a fellowship for the Honorable Ursula Ungaro of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Ms. Gutierrez is licensed to practice law in Florida and in the District of Columbia. She is a member of The Florida Bar and District of Columbia Bar; she is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
She is fluent in Spanish.
