Georgia Hamann is a partner in the Scottsdale hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., focusing her practice on defending clients in tort and commercial litigation matters, including general liability, premises liability, products liability, negligence-based claims, and wrongful death. She has extensive experience representing manufacturers, distributors, property owners, and commercial entities in both state and federal courts.
Ms. Hamann is known for her strategic litigation style, particularly in cases involving serious injuries and complex medical issues. She works closely with treating physicians and other key witnesses to build effective defenses to causation and damages, often uncovering testimony more persuasive than that of retained experts. Her work has led to numerous favorable outcomes through both settlement and dispositive motion practice.
In addition to her tort defense work, Ms. Hamann has litigated a range of commercial disputes involving construction contracts, lease agreements, and business torts. Her dual focus on liability and commercial matters allows her to serve as a versatile legal partner for clients navigating high-risk litigation.
Ms. Hamann's contributions to the community extend beyond the courtroom. She has served on the Advocacy Luncheon Committee of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel since 2012 and previously held a board position with the Arizona Women Lawyers Association. Earlier in her career, she was a Fellow with the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues and participated in the Vanderbilt Law School Intellectual Property Clinic's USPTO pilot program.
Her academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and authored a published piece on international trade disputes. In 2006, she earned her Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Liberty University, graduating magna cum laude.
Ms. Hamann has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® (2024-2025) in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants.
