Gleam Davis serves as Of Counsel in the Los Angeles Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., bringing over four decades of experience in state and federal court litigation. Her diverse practice spans general liability, product liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, appellate, labor disputes, personal injury defense, and civil rights litigation. She has extensive first-chair trial, appellate, and arbitration experience, representing clients in complex cases.
In addition to her private practice, Ms. Davis dedicated seventeen years to public service, serving as Mayor, City Council Member, and Planning Commissioner in the City of Santa Monica. Her leadership in municipal governance has provided her with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, land use, and public policy, which informs her legal strategy when handling real estate, development, and government-related matters.
Before joining QPWB, Ms. Davis held a senior leadership position in the legal department of a national wireless carrier, where she supervised attorneys and staff, managed litigation strategy, and oversaw the selection and supervision of outside counsel. She previously served as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, where she investigated and prosecuted civil actions against state and local governments for violations of the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act. For her work on R.A.J. v. Miller, a landmark civil rights case challenging substandard conditions in Texas state mental hospitals, she received a commendation from the Assistant Attorney General, Civil Rights Division.
Ms. Davis earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1981 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California, magna cum laude, in 1978. Combined with her experience in corporate law, government service, and litigation, she makes a formidable advocate for her clients and an asset to our Los Angeles team.
