Gloria Lewis is an associate in the Chicago Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where her practice focuses on workers' compensation and professional liability defense. She represents employers, professionals, and insurers in complex matters involving workplace injury claims, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining QPWB, Ms. Lewis gained diverse legal experience through her work as a law clerk for The Hood Incubator, where she supported entrepreneurs navigating state licensing requirements and expungement processes within the cannabis industry. She also served as a judicial intern with the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board under the Honorable Amy Meyer, assisting in matters involving regulatory enforcement and compliance review.
A Southern Illinois University School of Law alumna, Gloria Lewis earned her Juris Doctor in May 2024 and her Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies, with High Honors, from Oberlin College in May 2018. She is also the recipient of the Lincoln's Inn Award and the CALI Award for Excellence in Race, Slavery, and Law.
Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, Ms. Lewis publication, "Going Green: Cannabis Lounges and the Implications for Food Regulators," appeared in the Illinois State Bar Association's Food Law Section Newsletter in March 2024.
