Greg Lahey is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., concentrating on civil litigation and insurance defense. With an extensive track record of achieving client-centered results, Mr. Lahey has sharpened his expertise from case inception through trial, representing clients in state and federal courts in Florida and New York.
Mr. Lahey brings years of experience litigating cases involving personal injury protection (PIP) litigation, premises liability, transportation, construction litigation, contract disputes, employment discrimination, bodily injury defense, property damage claims, subrogation matters, class actions, admiralty and maritime law, and general commercial disputes. He has also provided comprehensive coverage opinions and managed high-stakes cases for insurance and corporate clients.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Lahey worked as an associate attorney litigating complex matters and providing timely, comprehensive coverage opinions for insurance and corporate clients. Earlier in his career, he represented Fortune 100 companies and high-profile clients in class actions and commercial disputes. Notably, he secured favorable summary judgments for major cruise lines and defended a Fortune 100 company in one of the largest federal class actions in the Southern District of Florida.
A graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law, Mr. Lahey earned his Juris Doctor in 2004. During law school, he received Book Awards in European Union Law and Advanced Legal Research & Writing. He also gained valuable experience as a Certified Law Clerk with the U.S. Attorney's Office, SDFL, and as a Judicial Intern with the United States District Court, SDFL. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
Mr. Lahey is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Southern District of Florida.
Beyond his practice, Mr. Lahey has a distinguished background as a former nationally and internationally ranked professional squash competitor and has served as Athletic Director for the prestigious Princeton Club in New York.
