Harry L. Durden Jr. is a partner in the Chicago Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He is an accomplished trial attorney with a successful record of litigating complex matters across the State of Illinois. Mr. Durden has served as lead counsel in more than 20 jury trials and over 30 arbitrations. His practice focuses on professional liability matters, including legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and director and officer liability. He also handles complex general liability cases, subrogation claims, employment practices liability, occupational accident defense, third-party discrimination claims, and fiduciary-related disputes.
With a unique background as a former Senior Claims Examiner and Senior Underwriting Counsel, Mr. Durden brings deep insight into risk evaluation and loss mitigation. His ability to assess liability and exposure from both a legal and insurance standpoint makes him a strategic partner to insurers, TPAs, and corporate clients. He routinely advises on contract analysis, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, and has represented both domestic and international businesses in navigating complex legal landscapes. His approach is results-driven, providing clients with forward-thinking legal solutions that align with their business goals.
Mr. Durden earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2014. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois.
