Heather Thatcher, RN, is a partner in the Farmington Hills Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Thatcher is a multifaceted attorney with a demonstrated history of achieving successful outcomes for clients in the insurance industry, with particular emphasis on managing litigation involving No-Fault automotive claims.

With over twenty years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Ms. Thatcher brings a unique perspective to her practice. Her medical background is a valuable asset when evaluating claims presented by healthcare providers and claimants, allowing her to navigate the intersection of medicine and law with precision. She concentrates her practice on insurance defense litigation, including the investigation of insurance fraud, first- and third-party No-Fault defense litigation, and Examinations Under Oath.

Before joining QPWB, Ms. Thatcher represented clients as an attorney at several well-regarded Michigan firms where she focused her practice on insurance defense, fraud investigations, and healthcare-related litigation. Her work has consistently reflected her ability to blend her clinical knowledge with strong litigation skills to advocate effectively for her clients.

Ms. Thatcher earned her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 2019, where she developed her trial skills under the tutelage of the Honorable Judge Timothy Connors. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent more than two decades serving patients and managing care before transitioning into law.

Licensed to practice in Michigan and Florida, Ms. Thatcher is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
