Heidi M. Yoshioka is a Partner in the Los Angeles Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., primarily handling high-exposure cases involving product liability, premises liability, and general liability matters. With more than 25 years of experience, she represents national and international clients across diverse industries, including automotive, vertical transportation, heavy machinery, highway transportation, food products, and hospitality.  

Notably, Ms. Yoshioka has defended the world's largest communications company in general and premises liability matters. She collaborates closely with her clients to align strategies with their business objectives, emphasizing value-driven solutions. Her extensive litigation experience includes successfully trying multi-plaintiff automobile, vertical transportation, and premises liability cases to verdict. She also has significant motion practice experience, having authored and argued numerous successful motions for summary judgment. Additionally, she is highly skilled in deposing expert witnesses, parties, and third-party witnesses, as well as defending clients in depositions. 

Beyond her practice, she has been deeply engaged in community service. From 2013 to 2017, she served in multiple roles at Southwestern Law School, including Associate Adjunct Professor, Board of Directors member, President of the Alumni Board of Directors, and a member of the Board of Trustees and Search Committee. She also contributed as Program Chair for the Inn of Courts Litigation Section and served on the Board of Directors for Miranda's People, a nonprofit supporting canine cancer research. 

Ms. Yoshioka attended Southwestern Law School to obtain her Juris Doctor in 1989. Prior to law school, she attended Loyola Marymount University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1986. During her undergraduate years, she was a dedicated student-athlete, competing as a member of the NCAA Division Women's Basketball Team, demonstrating her discipline, teamwork, and leadership, qualities that continue to define her legal career. 

Licensed as a member of the California State Bar, Ms. Yoshioka is admitted to practice before all California Courts. She is actively involved in various professional organizations, including:

  • Japanese American Bar Association 
  • Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance, Los Angeles
