Holli McGehee Hagemeyer is an associate in the Louisville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.. Ms. Hagemeyer is an experienced attorney who manages all phases of the legal lifecycle, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and appeals. Her practice also includes providing guidance on secured and unsecured debt recovery options, lien enforcement, and proactive risk mitigation strategies. She actively monitors legislative and case law developments to provide proactive legal guidance regarding creditor rights.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hagemeyer was an associate attorney at a national law firm in Franklin, Tennessee, where she represented clients in complex business disputes. Previously, she served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Tennessee Attorney General's Office, specializing in civil litigation within the Public Protection Section. In that role, she litigated creditor claims in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts, including handling motions for relief from stay and objections to discharge. She managed high-volume caseloads and conducted extensive due diligence and asset investigations to enforce judgments and maximize recovery potential. Her background also includes serving as a legal extern for the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney in Louisville and clerking within a Federal Habeas Corpus Division.
In 2021, she earned her Juris Doctor from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. Ms. Hagemeyer also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lipscomb University, where she studied Public Relations and Political Science. During her legal education, she held a Kentucky Limited Practice License, which allowed her to participate in Grand Jury proceedings and present cases before the Grand Jury.
