Hunter Martin is an associate in the Memphis office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., concentrating on labor and employment, family law, environmental law, bankruptcy, and neighborhood preservation. He brings a well-rounded perspective to his work, grounded in diverse legal experiences that enhance his adaptability and understanding across different client needs.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Martin honed his skills in employment law, tackling complex cases that sharpened his negotiation and communication abilities. He conducted in-depth research on property and heirship matters, deepening his analytical acumen. His background spans drafting a wide range of legal documents in family and environmental law, and he represented the City of Memphis in over fifty Neighborhood Preservation Act cases, where he took charge of every detail in Shelby County Environmental Court.
Mr. Martin earned his Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. During his time there, he served as the Secretary of the American Constitution Society and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. In 2020, he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Martin Methodist College (now the University of Tennessee Southern).
As a Savannah native, and someone who has spent years working for the public, he's excited to help those in need get the justice they deserve. Mr. Martin is admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
