Ian J. Fuller is a partner in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice on defending civil liability, workers' compensation and third-party claims as well as asserting subrogation rights. Mr. Fuller has a reputation as an aggressive attorney. He likes to move cases to conclusion with the least amount of cost to the client but is not afraid to take cases to trial.
Mr. Fuller is part of the QPWB Dedicated Medicare Compliance Group (DMCG) which focuses on protecting clients' interests under the Medicare Secondary Payer Statute and State Medicaid laws. He is experienced in everything from identifying and disputing liens and rights of reimbursement; preparing cost projections for future medical expenses; making legal arguments to obtain zero-dollar allocations; and drafting settlement documents.
Prior to joining QPWB, he practiced in Rockford, Illinois specializing in employment and civil rights litigation. This included professional negligence under the Nursing Home Care Act and Nurse Practice Act. Mr. Fuller represented clients in employment discrimination matters under Federal and State laws including, but not limited to ADA, ADEA, Title VII, Illinois Human Rights Act, employment contracts, contract disputes, wrongful discharge, medical leave issues, and harassment. He also defended nursing homes in civil liability claims.
Mr. Fuller received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from Western Illinois University in 2008 with his major in law enforcement and justice administration. While in law school, he participated in the mock trial competitions.
Mr. Fuller is licensed to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
