Imani Hemming

Imani Hemming is an associate in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Hemming brings comprehensive litigation experience handling cases from inception through trial preparation, managing heavy caseloads for insurance carriers and self-insured entities. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, insurance defense, general liability, and personal injury matters.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Hemming has served as an associate attorney at South Florida defense firms, where he routinely conducted depositions, argued contested motions, managed discovery, evaluated medical records and surveillance footage, and prepared cases for trial, arbitration, and mediation. He has extensive experience taking examinations under oath (EUOs), taking recorded statements, negotiating global settlements, and mentoring junior associates and law firm staff. His early legal experience also includes clerking for a regional defense firm focusing on complex medical evidence and discovery analysis.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in 2022, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

Mr. Hemming is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
