He also specializes in commercial litigation, including contract disputes, breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, and corporate raiding claims.

Before joining QPWB, Mr. Cook served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, Commercial and Real Estate Litigation Division. In this role, he represented the City of New York and its constituent agencies in government contracts, construction, and real estate litigation. Prior to that, he worked at a regional litigation and management-side labor and employment boutique law firm, where he was a member of the Trade Secrets & Employee Mobility strategic working group and delivered lectures on restrictive covenants in the firm's webinar series.

In 1994, Mr. Cook earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award. He completed his undergraduate studies at Vassar College in 1988, earning a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Urban Studies, and obtained a Master's in City Planning (MCP) from the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on Public Policy, Land Use, and Zoning in 1990.
