Jade A. Howard is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A, focusing her practice on first-party property litigation, personal injury defense, premises liability, and a range of insurance matters.
Before becoming a part of QPWB, Ms. Howard contributed her expertise to two reputable insurance defense firms, where she advocated for insurance carriers in diverse homeowners' cases. During her time in these positions, she efficiently handled substantial caseloads that encompassed premise liability, bodily injury, and first-party property insurance. Ms. Howard navigated these cases from their initiation to resolution, scrutinizing insurance claim files comprehensively. This involved a detailed analysis of various components, such as the policy of insurance, endorsements, claim notes, adjuster reports, correspondences, photographs, expert reports, and estimates.
Commencing her legal journey as an Assistant Public Defender in the 7th Circuit Public Defender's Office, Ms. Howard handled over two thousand cases, providing representation at every stage of prosecution, including arrests, initial appearances, and jury trials. This experience honed her negotiation and trial skills significantly.
Ms. Howard's academic accomplishments include earning a Juris Doctor in 2013, a Master of Public Administration in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in 2008, all from Florida A&M University.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida.
