Jade C. McKeough is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. McKeough has specialized in workers' compensation defense, representing employers and carriers for over 20 years. His expertise extends to personal injury defense, trucking litigation, and premises liability. From lawsuit inception to trial and beyond, he independently manages cases, ensuring comprehensive representation for his clients.
Recognized as a leading authority in the defense of Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, War Hazards Act claims, Jones Act, National Flood Insurance Program defense, and General Maritime defense, Mr. McKeough collaborates closely with clients to craft effective defense strategies. His responsibilities encompass document preparation, participation in depositions and hearings, and meticulous client reporting. Notably, he has successfully represented premises defendants in asbestos and hearing loss litigation.
Mr. McKeough graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2002. He previously earned his Bachelor of Science in General Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 1999.
