Jason B. Trauth is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Having conducted over 35 jury trials for both civil and criminal matters, Mr. Trauth brings a wealth of experience to his practice. He is proficient in all facets of litigation and has successfully managed diverse cases across federal and state courts, AAA arbitrations, and administrative hearings from start to finish. Notably, he has presented cases before the Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal of Florida and the Nevada Supreme Court.
Previously contributing his expertise to a national law firm, Mr. Trauth handled a wide array of litigation cases, spanning contract disputes, insurance coverage, first amendment issues, product and premises liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic personal injury. As a former shareholder at a boutique regional firm, he specialized in commercial, construction, and condominium law.
Mr. Trauth prides himself on concentrating maximum time and effort into his clients' claims, guiding them through the complexities of litigation and seeking swift and efficient resolutions. He has a proven history of achieving positive outcomes, including favorable settlements, summary judgments, and pretrial dismissals. In 2003, Mr. Trauth graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Before entering law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, majoring in political science in 1999.
Licensed to practice law in Florida and Nevada, Mr. Trauth holds admission to the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Additionally, he is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Eleventh Circuits.
Awards and Recognitions
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Trauth is deeply involved in community service. As a former U.S. Marine from a family of veterans, he actively supports veterans' causes. Serving as the Chair of the Miami-Dade Unsafe Structures Board and a vestry member at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Palmetto Bay, he demonstrates a commitment to community improvement. His past role as the president of the Palmetto Bay Broncos Football Association reflects his dedication to local youth organizations. Mr. Trauth continues to seek opportunities to contribute to and enhance our community.
