Jaime E. Campos is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He is an experienced litigator who is passionate about obtaining favorable results for his clients. His practice is focused in the areas of automobile liability, commercial trucking liability, roadway construction and engineering liability, premises liability, products liability, negligent security and wrongful death cases. He has extensive experience representing roadway contractors in general liability matters. Mr. Campos is certified by the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) in advanced maintenance of traffic.

He has obtained favorable results on behalf of clients at trial, arbitration, mediation, dispositive motion practice and via informal negotiations. He has obtained summary judgment on behalf of clients based on the following legal defenses: the Slavin Doctrine; contractor immunity per section 337.195, Florida Statutes; worker's compensation immunity per section 440.11, Florida Statutes; lack of notice defenses per section 768.0755, Florida Statutes; statute of limitations defenses per section 95.11, Florida Statutes; the Graves Amendment; issues involving vicarious liability; and the no duty owed defense. Of note, he has obtained several defense verdicts at trial in high exposure cases involving automobile liability, commercial trucking liability and roadway construction defects. Most notably, Mr. Campos has utilized various litigation strategies to successfully negotiate the resolution of hundreds of cases on behalf of clients.

Mr. Campos is native of Miami-Dade County having graduated from Palmetto Senior High School. Thereafter, in 2000, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In 2003, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Campos is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. He also has a history of representing athletes and artists in a wide range of legal matters.

Outside of work, Mr. Campos enjoys spending his time with his wife and two daughters, exercising and playing poker.
