Jenna K. Jurado is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Jurado has represented clients in a variety of areas that include automotive liability, civil litigation, commercial liability, contract disputes, general litigation, immigration, insurance and insurers, labor and employment, medical malpractice defense, negligent security, personal injury defense, premises liability, probate and guardianship, product liability, property damage, retail and hospitality, and wrongful death.
With a diverse background that includes experience in engineering and crisis intervention advocacy, Ms. Jurado brings a unique perspective to her practice. As a Career Agent for a life insurance company, she provided invaluable consultation and enrollment services for life, accident, and supplemental health insurance products. Prior to joining QPWB, she gained practical legal experience as a law clerk at Vasquez de Lara Law Group, where she refined her skills in drafting legal documents and engaging in case management strategies for various matters, including dissolution of marriage, uncontested divorce, paternity, post-judgment, guardianship, estate/probate, guardian ad litem, child support, and domestic violence cases.
Ms. Jurado earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida, in May 2022. She achieved the highest honor at the university, the Iron Arrow, and was deeply involved in extracurricular activities, including serving as President of the Alliance Against Human Trafficking and the Christian Legal Society. Before attending law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016, majoring in Psychology, from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Ms. Jurado is licensed to practice law in Florida and in addition to her legal practice, she is an active member of various professional associations and organizations. She is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida, the Federal Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Christian Legal Society, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
