Jennifer J. Sanders is an associate in the Denver office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Since 2016, Ms. Sanders' practice has been focused on insurance defense in matters involving the state of Arizona, its employees, its contractors, and its agencies. She is an experienced litigator with over two decades navigating personal injury defense, professional liability, commercial and general liability litigation.

Ms. Sanders has over two decades of extensive experience mediating and settling cases, acting as an arbitrator, and participating in arbitrations, including multimillion-dollar securities and commercial contract arbitration/litigation. She has an impressive record in trial, having completed hundreds of bench trials and more than half a dozen jury trials. She also has a background in criminal, child welfare, probate, and family law due to her practice as a specialist in these areas. Her extensive knowledge of the legal system allows her to understand the ways in which these areas of law overlap and impact other areas of law.

As the Managing Partner of Sanders & Sanders, Ms. Sanders managed a high-volume practice and intensive caseload requiring effective oral and written communication dealing with a multicultural population with varied religious beliefs and socioeconomic backgrounds. In this role, she represented parents and children in dependency and severance proceedings including jury trials, juveniles in delinquency, incorrigibility, probable cause, and transfer proceedings. Additionally, she created an alternative program which saved the county a significant sum of money paid for representation in cases that could be diverted from the system.

Notably, Ms. Sanders represented the State of Arizona, state agencies, the Arizona Board of Regents (state universities), and individual employees (including the governor, the attorney general, and directors of agencies) in complex civil litigation and civil rights litigation in state and federal courts. While serving as the Assistant Attorney General, she coordinated with the Arizona Department of Administration, and client agencies to assess risk and liability, and to manage claims and lawsuits. Litigation including jury trials and civil jury trial list available upon request.

In 2000, Ms. Sanders obtained her Juris Doctor from James E. Rogers College of Law. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in 1996.

Ms. Sanders also served as an Arbitrator. She was appointed by the Pima County Superior Court and was regularly assigned arbitrations. She completed approximately half a dozen arbitrations and filed written rulings during that time.

Licensed to practice law in Arizona, Ms. Sanders is admitted to the Arizona Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, Morris K. Udall American Inn of Courts, Pima

County Bar Association, Tucson Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and serves as a board member of Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona.
