Jennifer L. Kiesewetter is a partner in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Kiesewetter focuses her practice in the areas of workers' compensation defense and civil litigation involving accidental injuries. She handles all aspects of litigation, from arbitration to appeals, involving the defense of employers, self-insured employers and their insurance carriers, and resolves matters seeking dismissal of claims, and resolution of claims through settlement process. Ms. Kiesewetter is named to the Super Lawyers Illinois Rising Stars Listing from 2012 through 2019 and the Leading Lawyers Emerging Lawyers Listing from 2016 through 2019 in recognition of her practice in Workers' Compensation.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Kiesewetter was an associate with a regional law firm in LaSalle County, Illinois specializing in civil personal injury and workers' compensation law, where she litigated and settled matters in excess of over 30 million dollars. She successfully handled settlements, trials, and appeals at the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, the circuit court and appellate court levels.
Ms. Kiesewetter received her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law at Urbana-Champaign in 2004 and Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Eureka College, Illinois in 2001.
Ms. Kiesewetter is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri; and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
She has served on the Illinois State Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section Council from 2007-2010 and has authored articles for the ISBA.
