Jennifer N. Grant is of counsel with Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., and practices throughout the South Florida tri-county area (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties). Ms. Grant concentrates her practice in probate, trust and guardianship litigation. She helps families, beneficiaries and fiduciaries resolve issues relating to will and trust contests, disputes regarding lack of capacity and undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference of an expectancy, will or trust construction, elective share issues, challenges to the trustee, among other claims.
Ms. Grant also handles commercial litigation matters including trade secret, trademark and copyright litigation, partnership and corporate disputes, breach of contract, defamation, and fraud claims.
As a second generation native Floridian of Miami-Dade, she has lived and then practiced law in Florida for her entire life. Currently, Ms. Grant splits her time between Lighthouse Point, Florida and South Miami, Florida.
Prior to joining Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., Ms. Grant had her own law practice since 2009 and treasures her ability to handle complex cases skillfully, efficiently and always with cost effectiveness in mind. Prior to opening her own practice in 2009, she worked extensively as a trust, estate and commercial litigator in large, prestigious Florida firms.
Ms. Grant received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2001 and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in 1996. Ms. Grant plans to attend the University of Miami, part-time, during the Fall of 2018 to receive her LL.M. in estate planning. She received the trial practice "Book Award" and was also awarded "Best Advocate" of the University of Florida's trial team.
Her professional affiliations include the Broward County Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, Broward County Woman Lawyers Association, and the South Palm Beach County Chapter of FAWL.
Ms. Grant served as a board member of the Broward County Woman Lawyers' Association from 2005-2008, served on the Junior Achievement board and was a volunteer teacher, and was a "big sister" for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. She was also the Chair of the 2017 Junior League of Fort Lauderdale's Riverwalk Run.
