Jeremy Rivera is an associate in the Orlando Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., focusing on civil litigation with concentrations in personal injury defense, premises liability, negligent security, wrongful death, property damage, contractual disputes, and general liability. He represents insurers, corporations, and individuals in a variety of claims, handling matters from initial pleadings through resolution.
Before joining QPWB, Mr. Rivera expanded his experience across multiple sectors of the legal field. As a certified legal intern with the Department of Children and Families, he drafted petitions, collaborated with attorneys on case preparation, and advocated in court on behalf of the agency. He also served clients at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic, where he conducted interviews, prepared tax returns, and ensured compliance with federal filing requirements. Earlier in his career, he supported attorneys as a legal assistant and clerk, reviewing and filing pleadings, coordinating with clients and opposing counsel, and maintaining case records for family law and foreclosure-related matters.
Mr. Rivera received his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Academic Merit Scholarship and a member of Phi Alpha Delta. He also contributed to the VITA Clinic, providing community tax assistance to underserved populations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from the University of South Florida, where he completed the Pre-Law track and served as Historian Assistant for Sigma Nu fraternity.
