JerriLynn Hadley is an associate in the Pensacola office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Hadley's practice focuses on insurance defense litigation and general liability involving property and personal injury claims, first-party property claims for commercial and personal lines, bodily injury defense, slip and fall claims, automobile negligence, construction defect claims, premises liability, negligent security, employment law, and civil rights matters. Ms. Hadley handles all phases of litigation from discovery, motion practice, and mediation, through trial and post judgment issues.
Prior to joining QPWB, she was special counsel to a large insurance defense law firm in Pensacola, where she handled construction defect cases throughout Florida, she managed multiple matters involving first-party insurance defense, and complex and high asset family law matters.
Ms. Hadley has over 25 years of experience in general civil litigation, environmental litigation, contract disputes, discrimination and employment litigation, construction defect, and family law. She commenced private practice in Renton, Washington as a solo practitioner with her practice focused on managing CERCLA and MTCA contamination matters in the defense of violations of state and federal environmental regulations concerning toxic tort litigation and a variety of environmental cleanup matters of Superfund sites and other private contaminated sites. Ms. Hadley also served as Planning Commissioner for the City of Renton; she advised the city council on land use planning and zoning, updated the city's environmental master plan; and also served as City Attorney to four smaller cities in Washington State.
Ms. Hadley moved to North Florida in 2007, where she re-established her solo practice. She also worked with other law firms and contracted with the State of Florida, Department of Revenue to provide child support enforcement services for Bay County Florida. Ms. Hadley represented businesses in a variety of general litigation matters such as contract disputes, discrimination, employment litigation, she handled complex environmental cases, construction claims, real estate, family law and criminal litigation. She also worked with one of the area's largest Family Law firms, concentrating on high asset divorce cases, child custody and support, and equitable distribution of assets including military retirement.
Ms. Hadley received her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1997 and Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1994. After her admittance to the Washington State Bar, she worked as a deputy prosecutor in Adams County, Washington and was a prosecutor for the City of Auburn, Washington City, responsible for the prosecution of both misdemeanors and felonies as well as county civil matters including work on a petroleum pipeline transiting the county.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida. Ms. Hadley is an inactive member of the Washington State Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
Ms. Hadley is a U.S. Navy veteran with 10 years of active duty. She was deployed on board the USS Puget Sound among the first group of enlisted women assigned to sea duty.
In her community, she serves as Board Chair of the First City Art Center; member of The C. Roger Vinson American Inn of Court, Pensacola; American Legion member; and member of the Veterans of Foreign War.
