Jessica King is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. An experienced trial attorney, Ms. King routinely represents individuals, corporations, and insurance carriers in both state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on professional liability, complex commercial litigation, and employment disputes.
Ms. King brings extensive experience across diverse sectors of the legal industry. Most recently, she served as outside litigation counsel for a national insurance brokerage, overseeing complex litigation matters. Her background includes acting as a defense partner leading large attorney teams in high-volume warranty litigation, defending professional liability and legal malpractice claims, and resolving complex business, trade secret, and employment disputes. Additionally, she offers unique courtroom perspective as a former criminal prosecutor in Colorado, where she prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases.
Her litigation success includes securing summary adjudications, obtaining early dismissals, and negotiating favorable settlements in complex, multi-claim disputes. Well versed in corporate risk management, she regularly counsels businesses, insurance brokers, and corporate entities on regulatory compliance, employment matters, and contractual obligations. Earlier in her career, she also gained valuable trial-firm experience contributing to high-stakes personal injury matters that resulted in over $50 million recovered for clients.
Ms. King earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Administrative Law and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in California Civil Litigation. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies and earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Montclair State University.
She is licensed to practice law in California, Colorado, and Arizona. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
