Jessica L. Laslo is of counsel in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., focusing on insurance defense litigation, first-party property claims, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation; third-party insurance defense, general liability including automobile negligence, premises liability, personal injury protection (PIP) claims, casualty defense and general negligence.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Laslo was an associate handling first-party property cases with an Orlando insurance defense law firm where she worked with adjusters and litigation specialists in the negotiation and settlement of cases. She was also an attorney with a plaintiff's law firm handling personal injury cases from intake through litigation where she negotiated claims involving PIP and bodily injury (BI) settlements. Ms. Laslo has represented family law clients in uncontested final hearings; she has handled marital settlement agreements and has prepared parenting plans.
Ms. Laslo received her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Riverdale, Florida in September 2015 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburg in August 2012. Throughout law school, she clerked for a Tampa personal injury law firm specializing in Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability issues.
She is licensed to practice law in Florida.
