Jessica S. Herzig is a partner in the West Palm Beach hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, with significant experience in medical malpractice and nursing home defense, employment discrimination, insurance defense, and a range of personal injury matters.
Ms. Herzig has managed complex caseloads involving multiple areas of law, including professional liability and wrongful death. She has extensive experience handling all stages of litigation, from pre-suit evaluations and discovery to mediations, depositions, expert coordination, and motion practice. She is well-versed in analyzing medical records, personnel files, insurance policies, employment contracts, and regulatory compliance issues across state and federal levels.
In addition to her litigation experience, Ms. Herzig has worked closely with healthcare systems and hospital networks across several states, providing strategic guidance on claims handling, case valuation, and settlement planning. She is also a Florida-licensed independent adjuster and has attended mediations with the authority to resolve high-exposure claims.
Ms. Herzig has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation, from pre-suit strategy and discovery to depositions, expert coordination, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Her work includes a detailed review of medical records, personnel files, contracts, and compliance documents to assess case strengths, risks, and potential outcomes. Ms. Herzig is also experienced in employment-related claims involving discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower allegations, and is well-versed in HIPAA, the Florida Civil Rights Act, and EEOC procedures. Known for her strategic insight and responsiveness, she has successfully represented clients in both state and federal forums.
Ms. Herzig earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor in English, from the University of Florida in 2011.
She is admitted to practice in Florida, Oklahoma, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
