James J. McNally is a partner in the Miami office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.  He has extensive experience in the areas of civil and commercial litigation.  Mr. McNally has tried over 200 jury trials to verdict and has successfully represented corporate clients as lead counsel in numerous jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations and mediations in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mr. McNally represents both corporations and individuals in the areas in which he concentrates his practice:

Mr. McNally has been a practicing attorney for 39 years and has developed a broad insurance, maritime and commercial litigation practice.  He currently serves as counsel to several national and international insurance companies and also represents numerous corporations, businesses and individuals.  Mr. McNally's practice includes all aspects of personal injury, wrongful death, property damage and product liability litigation. His practice includes automobile and property insurance claims and extends to the areas of maritime law, jewelers block, insurance coverage issues, subrogation and marine and aircraft cargo claims. This includes domestic and international matters under the applications of COGSA, Carmack and the Warsaw Convention.  He also litigates cases including ports, terminals, logistics, warehousing, cargo, bills of lading, casualty and salvage.

Prior to joining QPWB in 2010, Mr. McNally had established his own civil litigation law firm where he remained as the principal trial attorney for 25 years handling the firm's most prominent clients.  He began his legal career with the well-known law firm of Blackwell, Walker, Gray, Powers, Flick & Hoehl in Miami, Florida.

Mr. McNally is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Florida and Maryland.  He is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.  He has also been admitted pro hac vice to courts thorough the United States to try cases including Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada and other jurisdictions.

Mr. McNally received his Juris Doctor in 1980 from the University of Maryland School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in 1977 with a dual degree in history and political science.
