Joe Wager is a partner in the Boise Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses on construction and commercial litigation. He represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and property owners in complex construction disputes. Mr. Wager has a proven track record of securing favorable outcomes in multi-million-dollar construction disputes. He represents companies and business owners in contractual disputes, risk management, and liability issues. His experience spans private practice and serving as in-house litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 insurer to provide his clientele with a comprehensive perspective, a practical approach, and an impactful advocate.
Mr. Wager represents clients in trials, arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations throughout Idaho before the Idaho Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, Idaho District Courts, and the American Arbitration Association. His professional affiliations have included the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, and the Idaho Associated General Contractors.
Admitted to practice in Idaho. Mr. Wager obtained his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2010 and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from California State University San Marcos. Mr. Wager has been repeatedly recognized for his litigation skills, earning distinctions including Mountain States Super Lawyers (2025) and The Best Lawyers in America (2026). He is proficient in both English and Spanish.
Outside of the law, Mr. Wager enjoys times with his beautiful family, traveling the world, golfing, and attending concerts. You can often find him at Gonzaga basketball and Boise State football games.
