John D. Dixon is a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Dixon is a highly accomplished trial attorney with three decades of experience specializing in motor carrier defense, premises liability, and complex transportation litigation. He focuses his practice on representing clients in matters involving truck liability, cargo disputes, and intricate insurance coverage issues.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Dixon has established himself as a leader in the transportation legal community. He notably served as the Chairman of the Transportation Committee for the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association from 2007 to 2010. His deep technical knowledge of the industry is further evidenced by his work as a co-author of Motor Carrier Liability.
Mr. Dixon earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1996. During his time at Stetson, he served on the Stetson Law Review and gained significant judicial insight through prestigious internships with the Honorable Elizabeth A. Jenkins of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Honorable John R. Blue of the Florida Second District Court of Appeal. He also holds a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Kennesaw State College.
Mr. Dixon is licensed to practice law in Georgia. Notably, he is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.
