Jolynn M. Falto is a partner in the Orlando hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. As a seasoned civil trial attorney, Ms. Falto dedicates her practice to representing employees and companies in wage claims, civil rights violations, and a wide array of employment-related disputes. Her expertise also extends to advising individuals and businesses in complex matters involving governmental entities and insurance companies, bringing a versatile and issue-oriented approach to each case. With a robust knowledge of U.S. and Florida law, she is committed to protecting her clients' rights and entitlements across multiple areas of law.
Ms. Falto's practice encompasses representing clients in individual and class action wage claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act and similar state laws, as well as handling civil rights and other disputes involving federal, state, and local governmental entities. She is highly skilled in managing first-party insurance claims, including bad faith disputes, and regularly handles cases related to business owner conflicts, shareholder disputes, derivative actions, and other business tort issues. Her experience also spans motor vehicle accidents, catastrophic loss, personal injury, wrongful death, landlord-tenant disputes, commercial and residential evictions, and construction law.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Falto takes on appellate matters and malicious prosecution cases, and she offers clients support in general commercial litigation, including breach of contract, lien enforcement, and more. Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish, with conversational ability in French, she brings added accessibility to her diverse client base.
Licensed to practice in Florida, Ms. Falto is admitted before the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Stetson University and her Juris Doctor from Barry University's Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law.
Ms. Falto is deeply engaged in community and professional organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for éclat Law's Foundation for Community Action and is a member of the Executive Committee for the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40. Her community involvement also includes active memberships in the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce, Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
