Jon M. Kreger is an associate in the West Palm Beach office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice on first party property insurance claims under commercial and homeowner policies stemming from insurance coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and the application of policy exclusion arising from a variety of insurance products including general liability, motor vehicle, premises liability, product liability, professional lability, and construction defect litigation. Mr. Kreger's practice is also emphasized in the areas of complex commercial litigation, landlord/tenant matters, creditors' rights, Title VII, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) matters, state and federal whistleblowers claims, workers' compensation claims and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Mr. Kreger has handled all aspects of litigation from inception of case through appeal and has acted as first and second chair trial attorney. Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Kreger was a commercial litigation attorney practicing with several South Florida law firms where he focused on real estate development projects, landlord/tenant matters, property insurance claims, creditors' rights, labor law and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). His practice has encompassed the defense of civil rights claims under Title VII, Section 1983, including disability claims and workplace accommodation disputes under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and whistleblower acts.
Mr. Kreger received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida in May 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan in May 2001.
Mr. Kreger is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
