Joshua Smentek is an associate in the Dallas Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Smentek brings a versatile litigation background to his practice, representing clients in matters ranging from insurance defense and personal injury to construction defects, commercial trucking and transportation, and consumer financial disputes.
Throughout his career, Mr. Smentek has represented individuals, insurers, contractors, and corporations in high-exposure cases involving wrongful death, business interruption, and complex coverage disputes. He has successfully mediated numerous cases to favorable settlements and achieved multiple defense verdicts, including summary judgment for a contractor in a serious injury case and a zero-damages verdict following a new trial in Tarrant County. His ability to analyze risk and negotiate practical solutions makes him a trusted advocate for his clients across Texas.
Mr. Smentek attended Northern Illinois University College of Law to obtain his Juris Doctor in 2014 and his Bachelor of Arts from Illinois State University in 2009.
