Josiah Suarez is an associate in the Merrillville Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., representing clients in a wide range of matters, with a focus on medical malpractice defense and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Suarez also advises and represents clients in construction-related disputes and real estate transactions, bringing a practical and detailed mindset to both litigation and transactional matters.
Mr. Suarez has experience handling medical malpractice matters involving complex factual and legal issues, where he works closely with healthcare providers and other professionals to develop effective defense strategies. His practice includes conducting litigation research, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, managing discovery, and assisting in case evaluation from inception through resolution.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Suarez has worked on commercial litigation matters involving contractual disputes, business torts, and construction-related claims. He also assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including contract review, due diligence, and issue resolution. This dual litigation and transactional experience allows him to provide clients with well-rounded counsel tailored to their business and risk-management goals.
Mr. Suarez earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in litigation strategy, business operations, and legal analysis. During law school, he served as Treasurer of the Asian Law Student Association and was a member of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. In 2022, he received his undergraduate degrees from Indiana University Indianapolis, Kelley School of Business, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics
