Jud C. Stanford leads as Managing Partner of the Birmingham Hub at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., bringing more than two decades of experience in civil litigation, complex insurance matters, high-exposure workers' compensation defense, and has a keen focus on matters relating to trucking and transportation defense. A seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Stanford has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts across Alabama, earning a reputation as a practical, business-minded problem solver.
As an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated™ attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Stanford regularly resolves disputes in personal injury, insurance, and workers' compensation cases. His practice spans a broad range of defense matters, including construction defect claims, general liability, insurance coverage disputes (including excess and first-party matters), premises liability, transportation litigation, and labor and employment issues.

Mr. Stanford earned his Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Licensed to practice in all Alabama State Courts, Mr. Stanford is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
