Justin Lopez is an associate in the Dallas Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He focuses his practice on insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage, and bad faith claims, with a specialized emphasis on insurance fraud involving healthcare and property damage claims. His versatile practice also extends to medical malpractice, general liability, first-party property claims, automotive liability, and premises liability matters.
Mr. Lopez brings extensive experience conducting examinations under oath (EUOs), attending strategic court hearings, and taking and defending depositions. A skilled negotiator, he regularly represents the interests of insureds and insurers alike, appearing at mediations and structuring favorable settlement offers to mitigate client exposure.
Prior to his tenure in private practice, Mr. Lopez built a strong background handling intricate fraud investigations of medical and billing records. He has successfully defended clients across a wide range of third-party liability litigation and first-party property disputes.
In 2013, Mr. Lopez earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law, having previously earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010.
