K. Scott Jones is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With over two decades of litigation experience, Mr. Jones represents insurance carriers, self-insured businesses, and corporate entities in high-volume defense actions, managing cases from initial evaluation through trial. His practice encompasses general liability, medical malpractice defense, nursing home and long-term care defense, construction defect claims, premises liability, personal injury defense, trucking and transportation, and complex insurance defense litigation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has handled extensive caseloads involving slip-and-fall incidents, motor vehicle collisions, medical negligence, and multi-party construction disputes. Drawing from his background as a trial attorney and partner at regional defense firms, he emphasizes early case assessment to identify core liability strengths and weaknesses, allowing him to achieve efficient resolutions and protect client interests.
