Keisha Dawson is an associate in the Orlando Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her practice includes civil and commercial litigation, corporate law, and insurance defense. Ms. Dawson has a foundation shaped by hands-on experience in both law firm and in-house counsel settings, advising on matters ranging from business transactions and regulatory compliance to intellectual property and healthcare issues.
Ms. Dawson has advised businesses across multiple departments, ranging from product development to human resources, on legal obligations and transactional matters. She has drafted and reviewed commercial agreements, including nondisclosure and service contracts, and contributed to internal compliance initiatives involving intellectual property and healthcare regulations. Her litigation experience comprises drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents, as well as coordinating with clients and experts throughout all stages of dispute resolution. Her prior experience also includes working with a boutique Florida litigation firm and interning at an ESG-focused investment management company, where she conducted cross-border legal research supporting teams in the U.S., U.K., and Germany.
While earning her Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School, Ms. Dawson served as both a staffer and a continuity editor for the Journal of Health and Biomedical Law. She is also a published author, writing on topics such as mass incarceration and transgender healthcare policy. Ms. Dawson earned her undergraduate degree from Rollins College, where she studied political science and English and was recognized as a Dean's Scholar.
