Kristopher Keys is a Partner in the Chicago hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., and is a member of the Business Risk Division practice group. Mr. Keys is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy industry focused on corporate compliance, ethics, and governance. His expertise spans a wide range of compliance risk areas including cybersecurity, policy controls, and risk management protocols. Adept at translating legal and regulatory obligations into actionable policies, he has operationalized compliance controls and aligned enterprise strategies with regulatory requirements.

As the former Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer at Exelon Corporation, Mr. Keys demonstrated his capabilities in leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing complex compliance and ethics initiatives, and overseeing cybersecurity and privacy controls. He played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of Exelon's Code of Business Conduct and has a proven track record as a first-chair trial lawyer with notable successes in jury trials and mediations.

Mr. Keys holds a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian History from Princeton University. He completed certifications in Corporate Governance: Maximize Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, and the Strategic HR Management Program from the Harvard University School of Business Administration - Executive Education. Mr. Keys previously co-chaired the Corporate Governance Compliance and Ethics component of the American Bar Association Infrastructure and Regulated Industries Section (ABA-IRIS).

His community involvement has included service as a board member for various organizations such as Legal Prep Charter Academy and YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. Mr. Keys was a founding member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Naperville and was actively involved with DePaul University College of Commerce - Institute for Business and Professional Ethics (IBPE).

Mr. Keys is also a recognized speaker and author, having presented at numerous conferences and seminars and written on topics related to corporate governance, compliance, and ethics.
