Kurt Greve is a partner in the National Products Liability & Toxic Torts Practice Group of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Greve is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience managing complex civil litigation and high-stakes dockets involving seven-figure exposure across the country. His practice centers on toxic and mass torts, products liability, personal injury defense, healthcare and medical malpractice defense, state and local tax disputes, and commercial litigation. Mr. Greve oversees the firm’s talc and asbestos science teams.
Throughout his career, Mr. Greve has spearheaded national defense strategies for toxic exposure claims in state and federal courts nationwide. Notably, he led the development of national trial strategies for cosmetic talc defendants to challenge opposing expert methodologies and expose unproven scientific assertions in mass tort litigation. His deep background in mineralogy and geology has led him to serve as special counsel for cosmetic talc defendants and as liaison counsel in statewide multi-district asbestos and talc litigation.
Central to his toxic tort defense is his capability to cultivate and prepare world-class expert witnesses in complex technical disciplines, including epidemiology, pulmonology, cellular biology, and industrial hygiene. His meticulous cross-examination of opposing expert witnesses has repeatedly uncovered critical evidentiary flaws, alternate exposure sources, and falsified research reports in high-profile toxic tort matters.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Greve gained extensive experience serving as counsel at national defense firms, a partner across regional Texas litigation practices, and senior counsel at specialized toxic tort and healthcare law practices.
Mr. Greve earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1994. He also studied Maritime Sciences at Texas A&M University at Galveston.
He is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Greve holds a black belt in judo, served as an officer for Texas Judo, Inc., and serves on the board of directors for the Fort Worth Judo Club.
