Kyle D. Curson is an associate in the New Orleans office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. where he focuses his practice in the areas of automotive negligence, insurance defense litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, commercial foreclosures, workers compensation defense, and bad faith contractual disputes. In these areas, he represents individual and corporate clients through a range of matters such as drafting contracts and agreements, navigating provider bills, and ensuring corporate compliance while offering counseling for privacy and security concerns.
Mr. Curson has significant experience handling state and federal healthcare matters through all levels of care for insurance companies, real estate property owners and developers, contractors and subcontractors, physicians and their insurers. He also resolves a wide range of complex general casualty and insurance disputes in the defense of motor vehicle carriers from serious tractor-trailer and freight truck accidents, transportation and logistics injuries to first-party property defense, hurricane damage claims, and construction litigation. Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Curson led his own practice independently handling caseloads and resolving criminal, contractual employment, and family law matters.
In 2014, Mr. Curson received his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, and his Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a major in philosophy. As a law student, he served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, Vice President of his law school class, and Secretary of the Public Interest Law Foundation. Additionally, he interned for the Navy JAG Corps., Los Angeles Airport Courthouse, and Orleans Public Defender. He has served as an Attorney Advisor to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals.
He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
