Kyle P. Jefferson is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Mr. Jefferson focuses his practice in civil litigation and in the defense of workers' compensation claims on behalf of insurers and self-insured employers before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission.
Prior to joining QPWB, Mr. Jefferson was an associate practicing with an Ottawa, Illinois law office specializing in personal injury and the representation of individuals in workers' compensation claims. He managed hundreds of files including multiple trials, proposed decisions, appeals, and first chaired a jury trial to completion in a personal injury matter.
Mr. Jefferson received his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in May 2012 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2009 graduating with a double major in economics and philosophy. During law school, he was a member of the Sports Law Review. He also received a Sports Law Certificate from the National Sports Law Institute where he also served as a student intern with the Northern Illinois University Athletic Department.
Mr. Jefferson is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Wisconsin and is a member of the State Bars of Illinois and Wisconsin; he is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and LaSalle County Bar Association.
