Lance Lee is a partner in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He represents multinational corporations, global manufacturers, financial institutions, and senior executives in high-stakes commercial litigation and cross-border disputes involving significant regulatory, financial, and operational risk. His practice spans complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, white collar defense, government and regulatory investigations, and disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and global investments. Mr. Lee is routinely engaged in matters impacting industries such as semiconductors, automotive manufacturing, renewable energy, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, heavy industry, and advanced technology, where outcomes directly affect corporate growth, compliance, and long-term market positioning.
Mr. Lee brings more than two decades of experience handling high-stakes litigation and cross-border disputes across the United States, Asia, Europe, and other international markets. He regularly represents domestic and global clients in commercial defense matters involving product liability, insurance defense, premises and consumer liability, healthcare, employment and labor, automobile finance, and technology-related disputes. His work frequently involves matters with significant government, regulatory, or international components, including regulatory investigations, international arbitrations, trade disputes, and white-collar criminal defense.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lee has advised multinational executives and corporations on dispute risk, pre-litigation strategy, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and investment-related issues tied to joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. He has extensive experience defending claims involving commercial contracts, technology licensing, trade secret misappropriation, patent and IP disputes, and regulatory issues affecting industries such as semiconductors, automobiles, renewable energy, shipbuilding, heavy industry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, steel, and electronics. He has also served as lead counsel in international arbitrations before major arbitration forums, including the ICC, ICDR, SIAC, LCIA, HKIAC, KCAB, and LMAA.
In addition to his private practice experience, Mr. Lee has held senior in-house and government roles that inform his practical, business-focused approach to litigation. He has served as lead counsel and general counsel for global corporations, advising C-suite executives on international legal strategy, risk management, and dispute resolution for overseas investments and operations. Earlier in his career, he served as a prosecutor in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, where he conducted criminal trials and investigations and advised senior military leadership on criminal and civil law matters.
In 1997, Mr. Lee earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, where he received the Top Moot Court Brief award in the Grimes Moot Court Competition. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the Dean's List in 1994.
Mr. Lee is consistently recognized by leading legal and business publications for excellence in dispute resolution and international litigation, including recognition by Thomson Reuters, Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, and other industry publications. His honors include being named a Super 50 Disputes Lawyer by Thomson Reuters and receiving multiple awards recognizing leadership and entrepreneurship in the legal and business communities.
Admitted to practice law in Georgia, the District of Columbia, and Wisconsin, Mr. Lee is fluent in English and Korean and is proficient in Spanish.
