Lanie D. Cohen is an associate in the Orlando Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where she concentrates her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense. She launched her legal career at QPWB as a law clerk, gaining valuable experience in research, motion drafting, and case strategy. Today, she brings a practical and proactive approach to every matter she handles.
Before stepping into her role as an attorney, Ms. Cohen gained practical experience with private practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, property law, and family law. She drafted pleadings, discovery responses, demand letters, and estate planning documents, and conducted client intakes and interviews. This experience helped her develop a client-centered mindset and a strong foundation in Florida civil practice.
Ms. Cohen is a Florida-licensed attorney whose academic journey began at Florida Gulf Coast University. In 2020, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, graduating cum laude. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where she was named Dean's Study Fellow and stayed involved through organizations such as Phi Alpha Delta and the Veterans Law Society.
