Laura A. Whitman is an associate in the Atlanta Hub of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Whitmann is an insurance defense litigation attorney, specializing in bodily injury and uninsured motorist claims, along with being well-versed in subrogation claims, automotive liability, and wrongful death. With a deep understanding of human behavior and strong negotiation strategies, Ms. Whitman's skills make her an asset to the firm's insurance defense team.
Ms. Whitman gained background in personal injury defense serving as Staff Counsel for a national insurance carrier. She managed complex litigation cases and pursued recoveries against tortfeasors' policies to maximize client outcomes. Her previous experience also includes roles at various predominant law firms where she handled bankruptcy and civil litigation matters. Additionally, she ran her own practice as a bankruptcy contract attorney at Whitman Law Firm.
In 2008, Ms. Whitman attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor and developed a foundation in litigation, insurance law, and bankruptcy proceedings. Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Criminal Justice from Georgia College & State University in 2001.
