Lauren M. Pulido is an associate in the West Palm Beach office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., providing defense for nursing and assisted living facilities. Ms. Pulido's practice also encompasses medical malpractice defense, nursing home claims, automotive liability, business and commercial litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, immigration, and insurance defense.
Before transitioning to healthcare provider defense, Ms. Pulido specialized in handling commercial landlord-tenant cases, immigration, Plaintiff's personal injury, and commercial litigation. During this time, she gained significant experience as second chair in trial, arguing contested motions, drafting motions (discovery and dispositive), conducting and responding to discovery requests, and taking depositions.
Ms. Pulido has handled defense cases for national carriers involving automobile and motorized vehicles. She was the sole Spanish-speaking individual in her previous role, often assisting other attorneys in communicating with their non-English speaking insureds. This allowed her to further develop her skills in complying with client guidelines, particularly in providing timely reports regarding case analyses, medical records, and discovery summaries.
Ms. Pulido earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she was recognized with the William Blews Pro Bono Award for over 120 hours of service during law school. She also earned a Student Leadership Development Certificate for participating in over 10 leadership programs. Additionally, she participated in several study abroad programs in Granada, The Hague, and London, and served as a Study Abroad Diplomat during her final year of law school. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Law from Boston University, where she participated in off-campus programs such as the Los Angeles Internship Program and the London Internship Program, where she interned with a solicitor's firm specializing in employment law.
Licensed to practice law in Florida and a notary republic, Ms. Pulido enjoys baking, walking her dog Stella, traveling, paddle boarding, and photography outside of her practice. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Ms. Pulido grew up in a Cuban household speaking English and Spanish from a young age. Her grandparents emigrated from Cuba in the late 1950s. For the 2017-2018 year, she was awarded the Junior League of Tampa Provisional Kids in the Kitchen Servant Leader Award year upon completing her provisional year. She served on the grant writing committee for the 2018-2019 year and contributed as a writer to The Sandspur for the 2019-2020 year. In the 2020-2021 year, she served as the League Resource Liaison to The Sandspur Committee and will continue her involvement on the Holiday Gift Market Committee in the upcoming year.
