Lena Morgan is an associate in the Nashville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Morgan's practice focuses on nursing home defense, assisted living facilities, and in the representation of physicians, hospitals and long term care providers in medical malpractice actions and in matters involving claims of abuse and neglect, negligence, violation of resident's rights, misconduct, including wrongful death actions, breach of contract, and labor and employment issues. For over six years, Ms. Morgan was a litigation attorney to one of the largest long term care companies in the United States; she is experienced in handling matters involving risk avoidance and regulatory issues. Her practice is also emphasized in the areas of insurance defense and general negligence claims, catastrophic personal injury and property damage cases.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Morgan was an attorney managing claims and litigation in health care liability and employment law for the third largest long-term care company in the United States, where she handled the day-to-day legal needs of the operations division. She worked closely with the departments of Clinical Compliance and Human Resources, providing guidance to facility management on Medicare regulations, employment practices, HIPAA, and health care law compliance. Ms. Morgan managed nursing home malpractice and labor and employment litigation in multi-state territories; and she participated in mediation and settlement negotiations.

Ms. Morgan received her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2015, a Master of Social Work from Tennessee State University in 2012, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut in 2004.

She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Alabama.
