Maggie Colter is a Tampa partner at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., who practices primarily in the areas of appellate and general commercial litigation. She handles appeals in a wide variety of areas and she has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Florida's Super Lawyers in the area of appellate law.

Previously, and for approximately 10 years, Ms. Colter was an appellate and litigation support attorney for a nationally respected law firm; and before joining QPWB, Ms. Colter was a civil litigation attorney with an Atlanta, Georgia law office where she represented healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions.

Ms. Colter received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in May 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in May 2008.  In October 2021, she was awarded a certificate of completion in Computer Science for Lawyers from Harvard Law School Executive Education.

Ms. Colter is licensed to practice law in Florida and Georgia and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the United States Supreme Court.
